Barbequed chicken legs and corn on the cob

When we were up at my parent’s house last week my dad barbequed some mouth watering delicious chicken. It just fell apart when you picked it up. Now it is my turn to give it a try… First I bought a pack of chicken legs at Costco today. I was going to get the whole chicken already cut and ready to go, but today at Costco they only had the individual kinds. So you had to choose between a monster size package of thighs, wings or legs. Since my son actually likes chicken legs I went with the monster size package of chicken legs.

First I turned the grill on high then came back inside to wash the legs. I seasoned them with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and lemon pepper. Right when I put them on the grill I turned it down to low. Then came back in to prepare the corn, wrapping them in foil with a little butter inside I went ahead and put those on the top rack of the grill.

I made the sauce of half butter and half water adding the same seasonings I had already put on the chicken. After about 20 minutes of the legs cooking I started basting them with the sauce and occasionally turning the corn. They cooked for 1 hour and came out perfect.
