  Oven-Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
4 bone-in chicken breast halves or boneless chicken breast (about 2 lbs.)
1 pound all-purpose potatoes, cut into small chunks
2 carrots, sliced
Preheat oven to 450* . In large plastic bag or bowl, add all ingredients. Close bag and shake, or toss in bowl, until chicken and vegetables are evenly coated.

Empty chicken, potatoes and carrots into large baking or roasting pan, discard bag. Arrange chicken breast side up. Bake uncovered, basting halfway through, (If there is no liquid add some chicken broth.) Cook about 45 minutes or until chicken and vegetables are done.
